this one goes out to the one i love

May I say over the last twenty four hours he who helped create them has been outstanding. He kept his calm when I lost my senses and has been a rock to lean on.

However as I prepare to greet the world this morning from the hospital bed I peer nervously into the over night bag to see what he has brought me.

I reach in for a towel so I can shower away yesterdays stresses. Hmmmm bless him in his panic he must have forgotten. Deodorant will have to suffice; hmmm that must also have slipped his mind. Unless of course I have married Neanderthal man who likes my musky natural scent. Well I can make do with baby wipes then!

Fresh underwear – check. – the boy done good here he even remembered socks.

Clean top – found it. No trousers to replace the ones bb was sick on yesterday but they are really comfy so I don’t mind.

I then catch a glimpse of my make up bag sitting in the far corner of the bag. Clearly he who helped create them wants me to put my face on.

And that would be my clown face as my dearest has packed an empty eye shadow case and no less than four blushes – a different one for each cheek! (Get it?)

So bb is doing fabulously, and I look like hell but feel great!

Morning world.

Ha ha ha ha!!! They watch your beauty routine every morning and every evening but don’t have a clue what it involves do they?!

Someone suggested that I should let hubby finish packing my hospital bag when I went into labour. I laughed at her.

Glad she’s feeling better. Hope you get to go home soon. x

Awh bless him. The nurses will give you a towel. One trip we had DH turned up with the biggest bag he could find, full, I had enough to stay for 2 weeks! we were being transferred & they struggled to fit it in the back if the ambulance! So glad to hear BB has had a good night & seems fine.

Very funny, great news that little one is feeling ok.

I had an emergency op a few years ago, I had seriously gorgeous doctors looking after me. I made the mistake of telling my hubby how lovely they were and he packed my granny fleecy p.j’s and my period panties!!

Take care and hope you are both home soon.

    xx

I’m only just catching up on your blog and have read about what’s happened. I’m so sorry to hear that, it must have been so scary for you all (and the dog!).
This is making me think that I should pack an emergency hospital bag for myself just incase as my husband wouldn’t have a clue.
Big hugs and get well well wishes to bb. x
