Slobber + Crayons = art?

Wall art….

Normally in my house we make our own.  Twin Boy once took it upon himself to decorate the wall on the stairs with red and blue crayons.  As his parents we can clearly see the artistic genius in the carefully thought out scribbles, but for some reason visitors to the house see it as merely looking like a child drew badly on the wall.

Rabid hound also likes to add to our wall decor, following a meal she likes to position herself in the lounge and shake her head slowly from side to side allowing big clumps of drool to fall our of her jaws splashing onto the wall.  Nothing, I tell you, nothing can remove dog slobber from a wall.

However I have found the answer to my prayers, check out this funky stuff at The Binary Box, they offer fantastic wall stickers for all areas of the house, so where I can’t remove rabid hounds mark I can now hide it.  I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my latest wall art for my lounge that will look like this…..

How cool?

In short The Binary Box offers affordable easy to apply wall stickers that are incredibly versatile and I am offering one lucky reader a chance to win £100 worth of vouchers for the site so you can decorate your own home.  You can choose one of the contemporary Banksy designs, or one of the stunning children’s selection, or go all out and make a real talking point for your home by adding a London Bus.

I don’t think I can rave about this company enough, all the stickers offer really good value for money and they have such a range of ideas and they look simply fabulous.

  1. Oh, how cool! I want space invaders, a tea time whiteboard sticker, a banksy maid and I’ve lost track of how much that is! Must be around the £100 which is a shame as I could keep going quite happily…

  2. Well, a Bansky maid and a red phone box to start with. Or maybe I should go for the ‘be nice or leave’, or flowers, or lamp posts. I’ll tell you what, let me win and then I’ll just buy the first things I see 🙂

  3. wow they look amazing, need to do Alisons bedroom after I did Elizabeths so these would be amazing. I would have to choose the woodland scene wall stickers and then for the bathroom the Penguin army stickers. I would also like the personalised logo sticker so I could do what I wanted with it. Ooh but the banksy rat collection is really cool, and I love the idea of the Black board sticker and teh banksy fallen angel damn there is just too many to choose.

    @tiredmummyoftwo

  4. I would buy the sheep kids stickers, The hand and foot prints stickers, the science museum planets and skelaton stickers, and the World Map sticker.

  5. wow what a great prize, I could buy so much with £100 – probably the wall planner & the ‘stay calm & eat cupcake’ and ‘save water drink wine’ stickers
    @jessies_online

  6. these are gorgeous stickers, i ve been looking for a way of jazzing up my daughters bedroom whilst avoiding the hideous usual (am i allowed to say ‘barbie’ pink stuff.. )and whats more The Binary Box is very local to me, a few miles up the road in fact… i’d love the Flower Tree for twin girls room and i’d love the Planets for the boys room….oh and a banksy inspired for a naughty twist in our hall………. oohhh the list goes on……..

  7. The first thing I would choose would be the Falling Leaves (Woodland Pattern) Wall Stickers, and then I’d definitely be choosing something for Bud’s room. £100 could go quite a long way I think! @RedRoseMummy

  8. Excellent website – My picks would be :
    New york statue of liberty to enhance my obsession with NYC
    The bunting to fit in with the nursery we are planning
    World map as a belated wedding present for my brother who is a travel blogger.

    😀

  9. OMG I love these!!! I would have:
    The Christmas Tree wall sticker for DD’s bedroom
    The Giraffe Height Wall Chart for the playroom
    Children’s bubble wall stickers for the bathroom
    The Blackboard jars stickers for my *new* kitchen
    … I want everything!!!

    Tweeting and Facebook-ing too 😀

  10. I just love the swallows, the butterflies and the falling leaves. Eye catching and simple. I am very tempted by something banksy inspired though. The girl floating away with her balloons is fantastic.

  11. What a fab site & a great prize!

    Particularly love the world map & that would definitely be the first thing I’d buy!

    I have RT’d on Twitter & linked on Facebook also.

  12. All fabulous – so many – too much choice! Hadn’t heard of this company before – thank you.
    I would very selfishly choose most for myself! Banksy’s Panda – for my son – see not totally selfish! Save Water Drink Wine – thinking of the environment! Keep Calm and have a Cupcake – well thinking of everyone really! And the Blackboard Jars – because they’re cute, fun and useful.

  13. Loving the skeleton sticker…it’d look fab in my bedroom. But, for sheer laziness, think I’d go for the Xmas tree. Save all the bother of putting one up and taking it down!

  14. Seeing as I can’t afford the real thing, I would definitely go for the Banksy Ballon Girl. And I’d also quite like the Christmas Cartoon Tree wall sticker as I love the idea of an “instant Christmas”. How cool is that?!

  15. Well, I’d love some black cats, because we’re living in rented accommodation and can’t have our own cat – and I don’t think a house is a home without a furry feline. And I like the chalkboards – you can never have enough places to make lists and our house is becoming overrun with yellow Post-It notes. The palm trees remind me of sunnier, warmer times, and the woodland animals are very cute, too. In fact, it would be pretty tough deciding what to spend the money on…

  16. Only yesterday I was looking at the bland, mundane cream walls in my front room thinking that I’d like to paint a mural to liven it up. However, I cannot paint anything more impressive than a wavy line and I don’t think my landlord would be massively impressed with me defacing his magnolia masterpiece.

    Step forward wall stickers; the answer to the problem. I initially doubted they would be my cup of tea but it turns out they’re my digestive biscuit as well. I’m loving the Banksy stickers, especially the girl with the balloon, the sweepy sweepy maid and the rat with the blackboard. There really aren’t enough rats with blackboards these days.

  17. Something scientific for my teenage child, something restful and calming for my disabled child and the music for me. Sorted.

  18. Im a real fan of wall stickers and these are great x I think after the day im having i would have to choose the chalk board organiser so i can become a real organised domestic godess instead of the hap hazzard one i currently am xx

  19. It’s a tough choice but as my boys aged 3 & 11 share a room it’d have to be the science museum stickers of the planets as perfect for both ages!!
    @chelseamamma

  20. Well I thought I knew most wall sticker companies but thanks for introducing me to a new one that is so fantastic. I’d like a tree branch for my bathroom please (though I was very tempted by the palm tree too!)…

  21. As we don’t have much room the Christmas Tree Sticker is awesome! However I would keep laughing at the Banksy maid (would stick it over Evie’s ‘artwork’ in the kitchen. I would also love the sheep for her bedroom as ‘Sheep’ is what my niece insisted on calling Evie when she was ‘The Bump’

  22. Love, love love the height charts and the musical notes of course! If there was anything left after we’d sorted the boy then the Banksy inspired designs are fab, great comp, retweeted under @charliewells80 x

  23. Hi!!

    I would have the ‘keep calm and carry on’ as now my little boy can crawl and stand, keeping calm is proving difficult, so plastered on the wall would be a good reminder and mantra for me!

    I would then have the large map, so I could improve my geography in turn for teaching jasper where I’m going to take him in his life on our adventure travels!!!

    X x x

  24. Oh, these are gorgeous. (First I need to move house as my walls are rubbish here) I’d love both the Rubber Duck Row & Rubber Duck Tiles in the bathroom, partly to annoy Squeaky Daddy and partly because they’re fab. Then I’d get some sheep for Squeaky’s bedroom, and the Space Invaders for ours.

  25. OMG, I adore these. I love the birch trees, the birds on a wire and flying birds. I also ‘Now panic and freak out’!
    Off to wander around your blog, have been Nanowrimoing and it’s been too long!

  26. i’ve just done my sons room out with some wall stickers and now i want more – the maid would be great, on the landing next to the bathroom, the anarchist guard next to my kitchen door, the british flower window box would be a fuss free way to have some greenery in my bedroom and the playful cats would be amazing going up the stairs, and might desensitise the dog a bit to cats

  27. WOW I know right away what I’d spend it on. Don’t know if you have seen any of my post stating Little man has a ‘special interest’ in buses? Of Course that bus would be the first thing I buy.

    Thanks for a great comp 🙂
    @clairelouise82

  28. These are just sooooo fab! I’d love to win. I would buy the Large Banksy maid for my Bathroom and The Banksy Throwing Flowers for my Hallway. I Love them all though, Very difficult to choose. @mamamakes

  29. I’d have the dinosaur wall chart, bunting and wall map. Ive only been in my flat for 41/2 years its about time I covered up the white walls.!

  30. Living in Bristol, I would have to have the Banksy Balloon Girl on my wall as well as the Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake Wall Sticker and a Blackboard Planner Wall Sticker -so cool. I could spend a small fortune on the website…

    @caro_mad

  31. love love love them all, especially all the kids ones But i love the dinosaur wall chart, and the bus…my lil man loves busses they are his most favourite thing in all the world (except daddy) xxx

  32. Oh that banksy has huge significance to me. It was the last birthday card my mum sent me. She read me this beautiful book The Red balloon as a kid, it’s a film too. Beautiful stickers, love em! And as liveotherwise said the maid would be fab too, I am very proud of my domestic failings, so it would take pride of place in the kitchen x

  33. Well completely over spent! The Flower Tree would look great in the dinning room, Daniel can have the space stickers in his rome, I would have to include my life motto in the kitchen – “save water and drink wine” and I would find space somewhere for a Banksy! Then we need the chalkboard wall planner! Do love these so will make sure I send you my address x

  34. So many great designs to choose from but would have to be The Keep Calm and Carry on wall sticker for my daughter, Now Panic and Freak Out stickers for me (!!), Christmas Tree and decorations to save me the job of putting mine up 🙂 and finally Banksy Rat Backboard sticker for my friend – now that is £100 give or take and lots of happy people @Bobbity666

  35. fantastic, figure ducks in bathroom, red bus in henrys room and the dinosaur height chart tee hee, what a good idea ..
