I thought they were over, I was wrong

BB had another seizure;

Its astonishing really how quickly you can adjust to living with a condition. My heart raced but not as fast as the first time, my eyes leaked but not as long and not as hysterical as before.

An abnormal episode in our house has suddenly starting to edge into normality.

Plans for the evening were cancelled as we realised a quick trip to the hospital was needed. Twin girl decided to accompany me as she felt I would be lonely alone, plus her heart was hurting again after cross words with twin boy that morning so she thought the doctor could check her out as well.

BB is fine, she has spent too long in twin boy’s company and seems some of his excessive sneezing and flying snot has caused her to develop a cold. The slight increase in her temperature triggered her epilepsy which in turn instigated my tear ducts.

After a rather long time in hospital we returned home, with two overtired little girls, one with sniffles and the other developing heart ache and belly ache from lack of supper.

When all were finally in bed with noses wiped, tummies full and hearts mended with a hug. He who helped create them and I poured a glass of wine, munched through a pizza, put on a film, and woke up just in time for the end.

It’s a glamorous life we lead over here people….

    Something always comes along to floor us, (or prove how strong we are?).

    I’m sorry to hear BB fitted again. Sounds like you’re coping really well though.

    Did the doc check twin girls heart?

    Big hugs to all of you.

      Heart seemed to recover. Bb has been fine since, a bit vacant but nice and calm. Boring can be fabulous x
