So let me paint the picture.
It’s a bright sunny day, the birds are trilling in the trees, winter jackets have been shunned for summer shorts and frocks and all is well with the world.

Week 2, Day 1….
My diary entry….
Dear teacher,
I had a wise plan today. As he who helped create them is studying from home I decided to recreate last weeks swimming nightmare by giving it another crack. However I totally pulled one over on the lifeguard by leaving BB at home in bed and only taking the twins…
We arrived ten minutes before the swimming session began. Good planning on my part as I wanted to ensure we got maximum return on my ten pound investment. I am northern and I don’t like to pay over the odds.
Its been six months since BB had her first seizure. I remember watching my smallest turn blue and convulse and I genuinely thought I was losing her. The horror of not knowing what was happening to my baby was insurmountable. Tears spring to my eyes as the memory surfaces of the fear that grabbed hold of my heart when the fit controlled her.
Regular readers of the blog will know I totally shamed my family this week at Sports Day, if you missed it, read it here.
Today a fellow school mum emailed me these fabulous photos that clearly shows off the dedication to win that seems to be inbred in my brood.
I have a bit of a reputation for avoiding blog hops, memes and doing arty things with my kids so prepare yourselves as I am about to attempt to do all three in one blog post.
Before I lose your interest let me tell you why:
“No child is born to die, but 8 million children under five die every year from illnesses we know how to treat or prevent, such as diarrhoea and pneumonia. In the 21st century, this is utterly wrong.”
