Trevella Park is beautifully situated to visit a huge amount of Cornish attractions perfect for those traveling with children.
We have spent a fair few summers now in Cornwall and consider ourselves expert in finding fun things to do…
Check out our latest guide to great things to do when holidaying in Cornwall.
Hang Loose at The Eden Project
This is an awesome place for children and grown-ups alike. Set in the beautiful grounds of the Eden Project, this outdoor activity centre will find a way to delight all who visit.
Will you be brave enough to travel on Britain’s longest Zip wire, or have the stamina to sit upon a giant swing and fly at 50mph over a cliff edge? You can also jump, without ropes from a 12 meter platform, or go for the drop of your life from the aptly named Big Drop….
If my ten year olds are brave enough, then I am sure you could give it a go…
Fan of shooting a ball into holes?
Then this place is going to be right up your street.
The latest craze started right here in Cornwall, and this unique pitch is the biggest in the UK. It is a great value day out, and as I proved, you don’t even need to be a good footballer to play! You can choose from one of two courses or really make the most of the day and play both. Don’t forget to try and defeat the goalie at the end.
Surfing
You can’t go to Cornwall and not sample the sea.
At Trevella you can hire boards and book lessons with Rob, and then hit the waves dude.
Holywell Bay is a cracking place to spend the day. You can ride, slide, and play a full 18 holes of Cornish inspired crazy golf. We have visited every year as the kids keep asking to go back.
This year we managed all 18 holes without a single fall out over scores – this was a family first!
The children will burn off ice cream sugar running around in Merlin’s Maze. Little ones can play for hours in the soft play, and the racing car enthusiasts will love the choice of go karts to zoom around in.
This place was a real treat on our recent trip and definitely one to ear mark if you are an adrenalin junkie.
At Kernow you can dive into the lake and spend an hour leaping from inflatable to inflatable on the wickedly bouncy assault course on the water. So much fun, and the whole family can join in.
Pray for a sunny day and you will never want to get out of the lake.
To keep the fun going, book a turn on the wake park and see if you can hold on and earn your stripes.
And of course, watch this space as I am told Kernow is only going to get bigger and better!

Haha no I was not brave enough for anything at Hang Loose – just watched my 8 and 13 year olds do it with absolutely no fear. Will have to check out Kernow next time as that sounds like something they’d enjoy.
