A weekend in Blackpool in pictures….

We arrived at the northern seaside resort to be greeted by rain, however, it quickly cheered up, paving the way for us to have a simply splendid time on our review trip at The Cliffs Hotel.

We hit the beach, grabbing some fish and chips on the way…

We took a walk near the hotel, finding some new hidden treasures of Blackpool…

We laughed until our sides hurt at Madame Tussards…

Rode the rides on the Pier…

And marveled at the fish in the Sealife centre…

We had a super weekend! Full of fun and giggles, plus waterparks and rides up Towers.

If you have not taken the kids to the seaside resort of Blackpool then you need to take them to get their own personalised stick of rock!

Have a read of my review of The Cliffs Hotel, it is a fabulous place to stay.

I can’t remember the last time I went to Blackpool. I used to live quite close, so had the odd night out there. Looks like you had a fantastic time!

I have very happy memories of holidays in Blackpool when I was little – squealing in the back seat of the car when I saw the tower and my mum sculpting my hair in the bath at night so it would stand up just the same! We took my son when he was about 8 I think and he loved it.

Blackpool is just one of those really fun places isn’t it? We used to go when I was tiny to see the illuminations, we loved that! The last time I went was almost 20 years ago, would love to take my two. Someone gave them a stick of rock recently and they thought it was a chalk! I need to remedy that! 😀
