A bubble for my bum?

I have been sent a cracking product to review; albeit it has a funny name.  It’s a BubbleBum; please note twin boy can’ even say this out loud without falling over in hysterics and clutching his backside.  In short it is an inflatable car seat; although again Twin boy says it could also be a trump as that is what happens when your bum produces a bubble.  He is only five, there is hope for him yet.

But in short this is a great addition to have if like me you end up taking other people’s kids places or bribing people to let your little leg hangers go to their house for a play date.

The technical bit:  BubbleBum is a really lightweight, inflatable car seat suitable for ages 3 – 11, it is clearly ideal for holidays where you rent a car as you can just pop it in your handbag and it is ideal for carpooling.  Both Twin boy and twin girl have plonked their bottoms on the BubbleBum in the last month and both declare it to be rather comfy.

Its pretty famous as well, it has been on This Morning and most recently won the Ireland Ulster Bank Business Achiever Award for Best Start Up Business 2011.  But as far as I am concerned it makes my life easier.

Recently when Twin Girl went to a friends for a play date after school I had to balance her car seat on top of the buggy with book bags, lunch boxes and coats so I could leave it at the classroom for her friends mother to pick up when she collected them later.  Then last week when Twin Boy was lucky enough to be invited to a friend’s house he just carried his BubbleBum in its bag singing ‘I have a bubble in my bum’ all the way to the playground.  Do I need to explain which was easier?

It retails at a reasonable £29.99 but I do have one to give away to a reader.

Should you wish to enter the competition to win your very own BubbleBum all you need to do is leave a comment below, if you want to enter twice then tweet the link out cc-ing me and/or facebook the link – simple really.

The competition will end on April 30th and the winner will be chosen at random by twin girl grabbing a name out of a hat.
