The baby and her MRI

Any regular readers will know my smallest little leg hanger had an MRI this week to try and confirm diagnosis of epilepsy and identify why her seizures started. So monday night was a bit of a mash of emotions; I ignored all good advice and spent the evening cosying up with Google looking at all the ways general anaesthetic can go wrong with a baby. Firmly and stupidly terrified I found solace in … [Read more...]

Rewarding good behaviour with food?

Sometimes as a blogger I get strange opportunities thrown my way and this was one I couldn't pass up on. For anyone that knows me, they also know I have the worlds most stupid dog as a pet.  She is loud, particularly keen of postmen for lunch and very naughty.  She has no comprehension of basic commands and yes tried to hang herself recently when all the attention was on bb.  She also has a … [Read more...]

emergency measures: I need a poo

Its inevitable isn't it. We just ate brunch at my parents home up north and have managed to pile ourselves, the dog, half of argos, some of Mothercare and a lot of toys r us in the car in order to undertake the excruciatingly painful drive back south when twin girl declares 'I need a poo'. The Revenge of the Baby

I have hinted in recent posts that beautiful baby whilst being completely adorable is also something of a mastermind and she spends the vast majority of her days sitting quietly twiddling her thumbs contemplating how to better her brother and sister when the opportunity presents itself. Today was her day. Twin boy and girl and I finally got to feel fully confident about the school run when we … [Read more...]

Four children…..

She is three, and yet still doesn't seem to have any grasp of social etiquette what so ever.  Her manners are appalling, her tantrums so extreme that she scares people and to be honest most days I think the family would be much quieter and less stressful without her.  Have you met Sadie yet? She can often be found on ebay but no one ever bids for her.  She is my slightly neurotic, manically … [Read more...]

Supermum doesn’t live here anymore

I was awake at 1.30am this morning, now I have a 16 week old baby so I imagine people think that is pretty normal.  However what would you think if I told you that I hadn’t even gone to bed at that time, and that I was actually not in my PJ’s until 2am?  I know what you are thinking – that I was a  dirty little stop out and I was going to regret that last glass of wine in the … [Read more...]
