We had a seriously hot summer. It was glorious. Lots of barbies, splash days, water fights, parks, picnics, remember it? You know, before the September term time hit and you became an autumn working-parenting-taxiing zombie? Ahhh… there we go.
For me, the months and months of stunning sunshine meant that my youngsters’ wardrobes contained cotton shorts, skirts, tees, swimsuits, and very little else. There’s not been any need for it. And while we must show eternal thanks for the summer we’ve had – really, let’s not jinx it for the rest of our days – it puts you in a bit of a predicament re. the kids’ autumn-winter wardrobe.
Get your wallet out, ladies and gents. It’s time for the bi-annual wardrobe overhaul.
Of course, it’s quality you’re looking for. It has to be with children, tweens and teens. It’s the only way to guarantee clothing purchases are cost effective. And with that in mind, the rise and rise of Swedish international clothing brand, GANT, speaks for itself.
Since opening its first flagship store doors back in 2010, GANT has become a firm fashion favourite amongst parents who are looking for timeless, stylish clothes that last. They don’t let you down, come shopping trip with the girls to playing down the park with the lads. And that’s for kids, tweens, teens, and adults, too, by the way.
Heck, you could probably treat the dog to one of their super soft scarves as well. Kit the whole family out. Go wild.
The GANT AW18 range for children and teens oozes classic but comfortable style. It’s jeans, chinos, hoodies, sweaters, ruggers, joggers galore! How they manage to get the hues spot on for the season is anyone’s guess. Deep shades of navy, green, burgundy, are paired with the season’s must-have colour, light grey. To make your pieces pop, you will also find one or two statement jackets in bold pink and red.
As the company who brought the button-down shirt to fame, there are several smart-casual items that would be great for Christmas gatherings and get togethers.
Give GANT Kids and Teens AW18 a browse. It’s honestly preppy perfection.
