We are super excited!
Like super-duper excited.
Because tomorrow is the last day of school and I get a week of adventures with the kids. We have lots planned in, tree top adventures, swimming, and a spot of gym action.
But by far the most exciting excursion on our agenda is a trip to Lightwater Valley.
It is time to get our spook on….
There is something for everyone, with some family related scares, and then some serious scares for the older tweens.
Libby can’t wait to meet some spooky characters at the meet and greets, and I am super excited about a Scary Magic Show! She has also been working on her costume for the Halloween Fancy Dress Competition which is held daily.
Then the slightly more adventurous twins will be floating straight towards the Live Scare Maze (you have to be 12 to see if you can hold your nerve in this one).
And then of course we are hitting the rides….
With over 35 rides and attractions for thrill seekers of all ages, Lightwater Valley Theme Park is one of the UK’s most popular theme parks.
At 8, Libby still enjoys all the aspects of a good theme park – and she is really excited to take a trip to Eagle’s Creek Farm to see all the farmyard animals including pigs, Shetland ponies, pygmy goats and donkeys.
And what trip would be complete without taking a trip on Lightwater Valleys signature rides is the 1.5 mile long Ultimate rollercoaster – the longest coaster ride in Europe!
See why we are excited!!!
