6 Child Friendly Places Your Kids Will Love

Travelling with children is a fabulous experience for everyone. The children get to learn about new things first hand and the adults will feel like they are experiencing things through the eyes of a child. Here are 6 child friendly places that your kids will love.

The Azores, Portugal

The Azores is an autonomous region of Portugal that has dramatic landscapes like fishing villages, green pastures, lakes, waterfalls and spectacular volcanic craters. Azores is a heavily protected reserve so it is a great location to see stunning marine life such as the bottlenose dolphins, blue sharks, sperm whales, yellow mouth barracuda, loggerhead turtles, slipper lobsters and moray eels.

It is also a great destination for water sports such as surfing, kayaking, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. Be sure to hike Mount Pico, Portugal’s highest peak, and watch the spectacular sunrise or sunset over the beautiful scenic views of the vineyards and the craters along the trail. There are many other areas in Portugal which are also worth visiting with kids if you have time to add them into your itinerary.

Start your holiday to Cuba off right by arranging to be transferred from the airport to your hotel in a vintage car. Visit the tobacco fields in Vinales, Las Terrazas and the Valle de los Ingenios where you will also find great activities for the kids like trekking, zip lining and horseback riding. Spend a few hours exploring Plaza Vieja in Havana where there are many music bars and pedestrian paths to stroll along. Take a trip to Cayo Levisa, a stunning beach with white sand, and enjoy your day swimming in the shallow water or basking in the sun. You can get customized tours of many different areas in Cuba so be sure to do some research beforehand.

Brittany, France

Brittany is in north western France and it is a fabulous place to take children.
