Uncommon ideas for Father’s Day

Uncommon ideas for Father’s Day

The men in my family are notoriously hard to buy for, and as Father’s Day fast approaches so does my brothers birthdays and of course the kids are keen to dazzle their Dad with something fabulous to open on

So I am always on the look out for something a little bit more exciting than golf balls, because surely there must be a point when you can have too many golf balls?

Recent I was contacted by Uncommongoods to check out their selection of cool gifts for the chaps in your life, and I have to admit, I was pleased by what I saw.

You can encourage both good health and green fingers with this fab Avocado Tree Starter kit.

Currently retailing at $20

Or you can go nutty for this Pistachio Pedestal, currently selling for $48 (I may just have to treat myself to this one!)

If like me, you like to add a personal touch to your gift, you will be delighted to know that you can personalise gifts,  such as this awesome family print, cutting board and personalised family mugs!

The site is easy to use and gives you some ideas for the occasion, I was ecstatic to see a how section on birthday ideas, goodbye golf balls, hello to A Sea Serpent Garden Sculpture!!! – You cannot get more unique than that!

UncommonGoods also have a bit of a cool back story. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in one of my favourite places – Brooklyn, New York.  They are a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique jewelry, designer décor, tabletop items, and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment without harm to animals or people.

They make it their mission to support and provide a platform for artists and designers; in fact, half of what they sell is made by hand.   So it isnt common and it is most definitely unique!

I for one, am very pleased to have worked with UncommonGoods and partnered with them to pick out some of my favourite products!
