The Micro Rucksack and Lunch box is large enough to fit in a PE kit and school books, and has a detachable insulated lunch bag. Designed to fit quickly to your scooter it eradicates the need to carry a heavy school bag on your shoulders which as my daughter cleverly points out ‘simply slows you down.’ If you don’t own a Micro Scooter yet the bag works perfectly well on its own!
I am a huge fan of micro scooters , BB has had one and it is doing wonders for her hip strength, forcing her to use her weaker leg to propel herself down the street to keep up with her big brother and sister on their older versions. I recommend them to anyone with young children for numerous reasons. For kids with hip and leg issues have a look at my earlier review on how the micro scooter has increased BB usage of her leg following surgery last year and has replaced our buggy on the school run.
Micro Scooters offer a vast range of scooters for all ages, starting with the mini which comes with a special seat designed to help those not fully confident to scoot yet and going up to big size. It is not uncommon to see me scoot back to the car on Twin Girls Union Jack micro whilst BB pushes along furiously beside me.
Micro Scooters do a lot of good in the community which makes it easy to be an advocate for them. They teach safe scooting in schools around the UK, and refurbish old or unwanted scooters to donate to children in the UK and Africa and have a micro scooter panel for parents and kids to test the micro scooter and accessories.
As a fan of Micro Scooters, their product and their outreach schemes I am also involved in a competition to win a short family holiday with them. Hard choosing with all the fab accessories but I’d have to go with the pull kit. My two are just learning to scoot and our regular dog walks would speed up a bit if I could pull them along when tired!

Fan of the helmet (red’s my son’s favourite colour, but I quite like the orange). I discovered this week that helmets are not just for bikes after my 4 year old fell off his scooter and got a nose bleed. Bad mum! He then told me off for not making him wear a helmet.
