It’s everywhere suddenly; you enter a shop and holly adorns the door, you go for a coffee and Santa peers over the till. The last of the ghouls and witches are packed away and the fireworks are depleting quickly and suddenly Christmas is upon us.
For years I have fought Christmas in November but as age overtakes me and the retail industry push on in an attempt to pull back from the recession I have reversed my thought process and have started to embrace the early start of the Christmas season.
Christmas for me means a new outfit, something crisp but cosy to wear on Father Christmas’s busiest day of the year. This year I have partnered with Next to offer a competition to win a £500 next gift voucher to ensure you look your best when eating your festive turkey.
The competition is simple, I want to see what your family Christmas Day Wardrobe looks like in the form of a blog post. You can show off your creative flair with moodboards, pictures, style notes and links to make your blog post as creative and original as you like. When your post is live, just pop a link to it in the comments box below along with your email address so I can take a look at your Christmas attire.
To get you started here is my Christmas dream list….
For mum; getting the party started with a bit of sparkle with this sequinned jersey dress; elasticated for all that Christmas Pud.
For BB a simply stunning star frock to open all her presents in.
For twin girl more jersey style wrapping….
