Review and a competition…. : The Ministry of Letters….

Review and a competition…. : The Ministry of Letters….

I am a huge book fan, I devour them, always have and with the invention of the kindle I imagine I always will….

I hope against hope that my children follow in my footsteps and spend their childhood playing with a Cat in a Hat and daydreaming with Anne of Green Gables and solve mysteries with the famous five and secret seven.

I also want them to read books I havn’t ‘eaten’ as a child and for us to discover favourite tales together.  Hence when I was contacted about reviewing a new book from The Ministry of Letters myself, twin boy and girl were more than keen to say yes.

The creators of the story aim to inspire readers to love letters and books and the twins were enthralled with an adventure story that is told around the alphabet.  The package arrived addressed to the kids which caused whoops of delight and contained personalised certificates, a letter from the ministry and some funky stickers.

However as this is a children’s tale I will let Twin Boy tell you about it in more detail…. (he does go on a little – no idea where he gets that from)

He is very excited that I have let him on the blog so please humour him by saying how great he is in the comments and entering the competition….

Gah! UK entries only. Oh well, that’s what you get for being an expat ;-) it’s a steep price to pay for all this sunshine.

I had to leave a comment though, because I am also obsessed with Anna of Green Gables. 8 yrs ago I dragged my husband to Prince Edward Island to go sight-seeing. I was really disappointed not to pick up a special memento whilst there – until I got home and found I was pregnant. Now ‘Anna’ of Green Gables is 7!

I love how he said his friends name instead of the character. Fab reviewer and of course super cute! Think he could have done a better job of bogging up your blog. He didn’t say the blog name or URL or Facebook page or anything. Tut tut. You need to have a word.
