Although I was rather unprepared for Father’s Day. I did have one thing covered…
Breakfast!
Aldi sent us a lovely batch of breakfast goodies designed to ensure He Who Helped Create Them got his day off to a good start.
The original plan was to give him breakfast in bed, but then I regained my sanity and gave him quality time with BB whilst the twins and I got down to the art of cooking.
The experience has taught me many things, the main one being don’t cook with six year old twins; the second being that an Aldi breakfast is tasty!
The phrase “can I crack the eggs mummy” will ring in my ears forever…
Frying sausages is apparently dull… (And to be honest I worry when Twin Boy is near a naked flame.)
Grilling bacon is boring… (I see their point here)
But it is all about the eggs…
My children are poor egg crackers – we managed one out of six to remain looking like a fried egg. The rest looked like breast implants gone bad.
However we survived, proof is here from when we started….
In order to make breakfast you need to break a few eggs…
And the end result…
And finally, as an after gift to he who helped create them here are the children talking about their Daddy the day before Fathers Day…
A Message for Daddy: Happy Fathers Day
Aldi were good enough to send us breakfast in the form of sausages, bacon, beans, tomatoes, bread, a camera to film with and of course eggs. Food was declared to be scrumptious by HWHCT although some black pudding would have been nice…

Good old Aldi!
Tell those twins frying sausages is a life skill. The veggie alternative is easily pooped in oven. Timer on. Pop in other room for telly watching.
Not normal…
