Today’s post comes to you courtesy of Volvo, who have asked me to make you aware of an exciting twitter competition that they are running on May 27th.
Before children I drove a much more stylish vehicle than the people carrier I cruise about in now and the Volvo V60 is the type of car that I feel would offer that style back into my parental lifestyle.
Sadly you can’t win one of the beautiful cars featured above but all day on the 27th Volvo will be giving away prizes ranging from cinema tickets to a fully paid for family adventure weekend away.
To be in with a chance of winning you need to be following @VolvoCarUK and the hashtag #V60getaway.
Volvo are going to be getting to know their followers all day by asking them a variety of questions before choosing their winners such as ‘where has been your best family getaway?’ My answer to that one fits easily into 140 characters as we once had a fantastic holiday on the beaches of Fuerteventura, complete with sun, swimming and a kids club!
The Volvo V60 is a beautiful beast of a family car, with an innovative safety package and sporty good looks. It would fit fabulously well into our family, fitting in all the kids and leaving room for luggage, cots, buggy and the rest of the family paraphernalia.
To recap – the promotion runs on the 27th, prizes will be awarded every hour of the promotion and I would love for a northernmum reader to win; I would also quite like to win myself!
