We packed up some sweets, crisps, fruit and lots of other stuff,
and headed out with our teddies to pass on the love.
We decided to give some of our toys away,
and give them to Oxfam to send to other children who live far away.
We washed them at home as they were really smelly,
While Persil made them clean, mum filled a bag with food for our belly.
While the teddies hung out on the line to get dry,
Mum made a pasta salad which she hoped we would try.
(We didn’t)
Teddies all fresh and smelling quite divine,
We took them out for a picnic to play with one last time.
Mum and dad took us to a rather cool spot.
The weather must have known we were trying to be good as finally it was hot.

We found some new friends before we sat down to eat.
And Persil gave us new bunny teddies which was a massive treat.
We ate our lunch and spilled our drinks which drove mum and dad mad
but we were having too much fun for them to be proper angry or sad.
We went home after a rather marvellous day,
and were happy to say goodbye to some teddies after our one last play.
We have given them to kids not as lucky as us.
So thank you to Persil for teaching us to pass on the love.
